February 2022 Library Update
Dear CLC members,
Lent is almost here, and it’s a great time to focus on teaching the Easter story to our children. Fortunately, there’s a church library book for that!
Stop by the library located past the Fellowship Hall to check out these Lenten resources for up to two months:
Waiting in Wonder for Easter:
Help kids answer common questions about Easter in this fun devotional book. Each page is brimming with color to show the celebrations of Holy Week, while also being packed full of trivia and Scripture to grow with.
Arch books:
These are on the colorful bookshelves and cover individual Bible stories for ages 5-9. We have numerous Arch books on the Easter story, so be sure to check them out.
Arch: Life of Jesus:
A hardcover collection of Arch books covering Jesus’ ministry, death, and resurrection. Find it on the wooden bookshelf next to the two colorful bookshelves.
Besides these, plenty of new books have been added to the shelf for adults! See the catalogue for a closer review of the new additions and what they’re about. Many of the books have been sourced from our Synod’s publisher, Concordia Publishing House (visit cph.org if you would like your own copy.)
There are also a few interesting books from 1517.org that have been added to the shelf this month. See the list below this letter for what’s new.
Happy reading!
