Fifth Petition Prayer
April 8 – Prayer
Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ. You have forgiven us of all our sins. You have set us free from our bondage and slavery. The price came at your blood and not ours. We praise and thank you for this precious gift.
Help it to be so honored and precious in our hearts and minds that when our neighbor sins against us, let us forgive them. Let us see the chance to be you to our neighbor that they might share in the same joy that we have with you.
Lord, what my neighbor has done to me is nothing compared to the sins I have committed against you and you only. Yet in your righteousness, you have preserved my life and honored me with your Holy Spirit. Give me faith to look at my neighbor and to share your righteousness with them.
Father, we deserve nothing for which we pray, and therefore we ask that you give everything that we need out of your sheer grace and blessing. We give thanks that you are true to your character and person, and we ask that you allow us to be as well. Thank you for the never-ending gifts which you have prepared for us. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray. Amen.
